     It was the summer of 2014. My cousin's friend had written a movie and was in the process of casting it. My cousin told him about me, then told me that I could send in a self-tape audition. I did and then I was told I got a small part. I had to bring my own wardrobe which was fun because all I own are graphic tees.
     They shot most of the movie in Southern California but they moved up north for three days; which was when I was needed. My mom and I got up super early each morning to drive about two hours for my call time around 8am or so. We would go until midnight and repeat. But it was really fun!
     When they finished editing the movie, they premiered it in Sacramento in the fall of 2014. I was sick that day and had taken medicine but I was able to stay awake to see the final product and talk to some of the friends and family of the other cast members and the crew who showed up.
